FlyTy and Jacinda met as co-hosts for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets. Within a year, they began to secretly date, only to notify their boss one week before they walked down the aisle. Ten years later they are still with the Hornets, thriving as entrepreneurs with their newest business venture Christian Jacobs Salon Suites on Main Avenue in Gastonia.
The dynamic duo is a power couple in the Queen City. They are the people’s host for almost every event in Charlotte. They have worked for many large brands like Truist, Nissan, Kia, Bank of America, TD Bank, Dream on 3, Panthers, YMCA, Compare Foods, and Belk just to name a few. They hosted DEI conferences and been keynote speakers locally, as well as in other states for the police and fire department. They have worked alongside the City of Charlotte, DSS, numerous public-school systems, Jack and Jill, National Black Engineers’ Association of America and more. They’ve been featured on the OWN Network’s reality show “To Have Charlotte”. They have hosted also multiple NBA All-Star games.
In addition to hosting, they have a highly talked about gospel radio show in Charlotte called the “Flyty and Jacinda show” on V1019-FM. They are also favorites on WCCB-TV with their own running segment in the mornings called “Woman vs Man”. Jacinda is also an Amazon #1 best-selling author for Uniquely Qualified and an adjunct professor for broadcast writing at Central Piedmont Community College.
They run a 501c3 nonprofit ministry called Stolen Lunches, which means to steal away and be fed by God. In this ministry they hold Bible Studies, weekly prayer calls and spiritual retreats. They have developed a fast, growing outreach program called Give Blessing Bags where the community packs and delivers bags of essential items to the homeless monthly. They also have a largely popular marriage ministry called The Connected Couples and hold monthly meet ups and quarterly outings to build strong marriages.
They have 3 boys and a baby girl. They have 5 dogs and love being in their backyard having great conversations with good friends.
